A Day to Remember at the North London Junior Fleadh 🎶

This past Sunday, some of our talented young members made the journey to Harrow to take part in the North London Branch’s Junior Fleadh—an exciting day filled with music, competition, and camaraderie!

Many of our musicians stepped up to compete in solo competitions, with some taking to the stage for the very first time. It was inspiring to see their hard work and dedication shine through in their performances. We were especially thrilled to enter the Grúpaí Ceoil competition for the first time in nearly 15 years—a significant milestone for our branch and a testament to the growing enthusiasm for Irish traditional music among our young players.

The atmosphere throughout the day was electric, with fantastic performances, plenty of excitement, and, of course, some well-earned medals! But beyond the competition, what made the event truly special was the sense of community and encouragement among the musicians, their families, and teachers.

A huge congratulations to everyone who took part—you represented us with pride and passion! 🌟👏 And a heartfelt thank you to our incredible teachers, who worked tirelessly throughout the term to prepare our musicians so well. Your dedication and guidance make all the difference, and we are so grateful for everything you do.

We’re already looking forward to the next event and can’t wait to see what’s in store for our talented musicians in the future!
