The St. Patrick’s festivities continue on Wednesday, 18th March, at the Rathmore Club with a full evening of Irish language and music.
Pop-Up Gaeltacht (6:30 PM)
We’re starting the night in the front of the club with an informal Pop-Up Gaeltacht led by our member, Niamh.
If you aren’t familiar with the concept, a Pop-Up Gaeltacht is simply a social gathering for people to speak Irish in a relaxed, non-classroom setting. Whether you are a fluent speaker, a learner, or just haven’t used your “school Irish” in years, you are more than welcome to join us for a chat.
-
No pressure: There are no lessons or exams—just a chance to use the language socially.
-
Inclusive: Speakers of all levels are encouraged to come along (Fáilte roimh chách).
-
Culture: It’s a great way to connect with our heritage before the instruments come out.
Party & Session Night
Once the conversation is in full swing, we’ll be moving into our Party & Session Night. Stick around to enjoy the music and finish off the week’s celebrations in style.
Whether you’re coming for the Gaeilge, the tunes, or just the atmosphere, we look forward to seeing you there.
